BU14 T3 Triangular Cup Final

Dear All,
Spencer Junior Hockey Club are looking forward to hosting the triangular cup final this coming Sunday at the Bank of England Sports Ground. I will be running the afternoon on behalf of Sarah Pusey who’s away with another of our BU14 teams way up in Solihull. The day’s format will be as follows, with each match consisting of 20 minutes each way, with 2 minutes’ half time and 10 minutes between each match. This will give us 30 minutes’ leeway to allow for stoppages and, in the event that two teams have equal points, goals scored and goal differences (unlikely, but always possible), this will allow us to have the winning team decided with penalty flicks (5/5 then sudden death). BoE are strict on hire timings, so it is important that we stick as closely as possible to this schedule. A short award ceremony will then follow. As I understand it there may be an issue with late delivery of medals, but I shall chase London Hockey and see if there is an update.
POINTS: 3 POINTS FOR A WIN, 1 POINT FOR A DRAW
Refreshment facilities are extremely limited at the venue, for which I share your frustration. I understand there are now filled vending machines within the sports centre, but I will also bring with me some simple refreshments and snacks for each club attending – if there are any allergies or restricted diets, please do let me know and I will provide those separately.
We will have access to the Astro from 13:30 at which point the boys can finish their warm ups prior to the first match. Can I please ask that you remind parents the only adults allowed on the pitch will be coaches and 1 manager per team, together with umpires. Spencer will be providing two umpires – please let me know urgently if anyone has any issues with lack of umpires for their teams so I can plan accordingly. Dogs are only permitted if on a lead and at no point must they enter the Astro.
