We start this season as London Club of the Year 2026. Tomorrow is the first round of league fixtures, and M1 play in the London Premier Division, the highest league in the club's history. Across all five men's sides, both women's sides and the juniors, there has never been a better time to be part of OMT. Here's what's coming up.

Back to Hockey | Tuesday 22 September, 7pm to 9pm
Our women's section is growing and we want new faces. Come to a friendly session for beginners and anyone returning to hockey. You don't need any kit, and you can drop in any time between 7pm and 9pm at Merchant Taylors' School, HA6 2HT. Stay for a drink in the clubhouse afterwards. Junior parents, this one is for you: bring a stick instead of waiting in the car park. Know someone who used to play? Forward them this email.

Mixed Hockey | Thursday 24 September

Club Day | Saturday 26 September
Five teams are at home, so the whole club will be pitch side, with a food van and music. Bring your family down, cheer on the other teams, or bring a friend for a drink in the clubhouse. Food will be available to buy for all visitors. The evening social follows from 7:30pm.

Junior Half Term Hockey Camps | October
Keep them playing over half term.

Good news: your subs are not going up
Just about everything costs more this year, but OMT doesn't. We've frozen subs at last season's prices, so you get London Club of the Year hockey, a Premier Division first team and a packed social calendar for exactly what you paid last year. It's our way of saying thank you for making this club what it is.

Adult subs are £145 for women and £195 for men. Students, graduates in their first two years after uni and Northwood Base members pay £75 (women) or £100 (men). League match fees are £10 for women and £12.50 for men, with reduced rates for students and graduates. Junior subs start from £135.

You can pay adult subs in full or spread them over monthly instalments. Subs requests go out from Monday 21 September, and the deadline is Saturday 31 October.

Bring a Friend | Offer ends 31 October
Want to cut your subs even further? Every new member you introduce gets 25% off their first year, and you get 25% off yours. It stacks, so four friends means a free year for you. Bring them in before the subs deadline and you both save. Speak to your captain or any committee member to claim.
