OMT started quickly, with plenty of opportunities from open play and from short corners, but they were unable to convert these chances with several shots going just wide and the remainder being kicked away by the Harrow goalkeeper. At the other end, a series of Harrow penalty corners at the end of the quarter were well kept out by the PCD team, and the teams went in level after 15 minutes.

The score was not level for long however, as a goalscoring spree from Luca in 6 second period minutes pushed OMT out into a big lead which they would not relinquish. Krish, Tom and Kush linked well and provided lots of good balls forwards, and Dylan, Kobi and Jenson all had outstanding games in defence as they thwarted each Harrow attack.

The challenge posed to the boys at half time was to maintain the standards they had set for the remainder of the game, and they definitely did so with Eesa, Nahom and Sid marking well and intercepting passes, and Rishi in the OMT goal was quick off of his line and made some important stops when called upon.

Rafi, Sammay and Kian were unfortunate to not get more reward for their hard work in the press, and although OMT continued to get high quality chances, Sufyan, Barnaby and Aadiyan were all denied by a superb Harrow goalie. Despite a late goal and rally from Harrow in the final quarter, the boys showed a lot of maturity and resilience to close out the game, and especially considering that many of the OMT boys were playing their first or second games on a full 11-a-side pitch, they can all be very proud of the result and the performance they put in.
